Architect Anna Shevchenko is from Moscow. She studied in the Preservation theme with Rem Koolhaas. Her research on Russian heritage was focused on a case study of the Jewish Autonomous Region in the Far East of Russia. It explores the mechanism of using local culture for community survival in the world of a new global reality. Anna works as a journalist, architecture critic and researcher.
