Nicolay Boyadjiev is an architect and design strategist currently based in Moscow. He has studied at McGill University in Montreal and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Since 2011 he has been working on multiple large scale urban projects and competitions in North America. His architectural and conceptual work has received multiple awards, most recently the First Prize at the ‘Hello Nature’ International Ideas competition in 2014 and an AIA Progressive Architecture Award in 2012, and has been published in Monopolis Magazine, Fast Company, and Architect Magazine. He is also the co-founder and the creative director of the non-for-profit ‘MiniPrint Kazanlak’ annual art exhibition.
