Balticlab: Creative industries for regions

How young entrepreneurs and creatives shape the future of Baltic region

Vilnius, Kiev and Moscow — three modules of a free education programme for young specialists (24-34 years) who want to work on projects developing Baltic region in multidisciplinary teams. Don't miss the opportunity to become a part of Balticlab next year — at Strelka its' representatives and guest speakers will present the programme, and on September, 11, the students will speak about their final projects. 

Balticlab is an innovation and leadership programme, run in partnership by the Council of the Baltic Sea States and the Swedish Institute. Spanning across 11 countries and with more than 300 alumni, the programme brings entrepreneurs and creatives together to prototype the future through joint initiatives and aims to create a community, who through collaboration empower the region to become more innovative, creative and prosperous.

At the lecture Balticlab representatives Olga Knutsen and Mirjam Külm will speak on goals and objectives of the programme and introduce guest speakers — architects Andreas Martin-Löf and Fanny Stenberg who will explain how creative industries shape new spaces and how our living environments affect our mindsets and ability to innovate.

Andreas Martin-Löf is the founder of Andreas Martin-Löf Architects whose projects include The Midori House in London, the renovation of a former hat factory into elegant apartments, and Aspvik House – a summer house in Stockholm's archipelago. Fanny Stenberg is an architect, working and researching within the field of architecture, production-design and art. She has 10 years of experience within retail, and the niche of designing retail and other public-oriented spaces. 

The lecture will be held in English and interpreted into Russian.
