AgroHackathon: Design and Engineering for an Urban Garden

Learn how to take care of a home garden, lay out a garden in your yard, and create an ‘intelligent’ hydroponic system

Participants in the AgroHackathoneducational programme will learn how to optimize the maintenance of a home garden, assemble the hydroponic installation, and create a green interior with plants. The public programme includes lectures and master classes on urban farming, and in parallel there will be a marathon for creating smart facilities for the cultivation of decorative, edible, and medicinal plants in urban conditions.

The educational programme introduces the profession of urban farmer and the peculiarities of modern gardening in urban conditions. Leading experts will explain why not all design solutions are suitable for growing plants, how to create your ‘smart’ pot, and how to optimize care for your favorite plants. At the master classes, professionals will demonstrate how to create a hydroponic setup at home by yourself, grow green interior accessories, and clone a plant in a test tube.
