Strelka Institute will take part in the Institute Effect exhibition, taking place during the third Lisbon Architecture Triennale, 2013.
Strelka will inhabit part of the MUDE Design and Fashion Museum with an installation about the institute’s role in Moscow and its place in a global discourse. Featuring its publishing arm, Strelka Press, the exhibition will explore the notion of Moscow as a crossroads for critical thinking about cities and design.

Dasha Paramonova chronicles the effects of the post-Soviet transition on architecture in Moscow of 1990s and early 2000s under its notorious mayor, Yuri Luzhkov.
7.45 — Reception with wine and canapés
The Institute Effect project is dedicated to museums, project spaces, libraries and journals from all around the world which frame the ideational space informing the practice of contemporary architecture, which document and conceptualise its present, and forecast its future. Twelve pioneering projects, including Urban Think Tank, the Center for Urban Pedagogy and the Fabrica communications research centre, have been invited to take over the exhibition space of the MUDE museum with a non-stop stream of activities.
