Selector PRO is the modern festival of British Council and Strelka Institute devoted to the British musical industry. During Selector PRO events one can learn about work and the course of British labels, festivals, music magazines and booking agencies development.
First day of the festival program:
Laboratory “New Music Formats” under the guidance of Michela Magas, founder of the Music Tech festival , counselor of European Digital EU Development Commission, creator of musical application Sonaris System and chief of the innovative laboratory Stomatolite.

Discussion “The way technology determines musical industry development” with the director of MusicTech festival Andrew Dubbers and musician and journalist Nick Zavriev.

20:00 “Ocean of Sound. How music is born”
British musician, critic, modern experimental music lead researcher, UAL professor David Toop lectures on the connection between thoughtful hearing technique, “quiet kinds of art” (e.g. painting or sculpture) and process of music creation. Lecture moderator is Maxim Semelyak.
