Selector Pro. Supermensch: The legend of Shep Gordon (Screenings)

Beat Film Festival will presents "Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon", a film about the odious manager Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd and other rock stars.

Shep Gordon made the profession of managing both effective and odious at the same time: he was the one who came up with the idea of setting a chicken to certain death during an Alice Cooper concert, leaving a van with a half-naked billboard of a famous artist in the middle of London and a million other tricks, which are now recorded in many books on music management. Gordon is a real music industry mogul, a Hollywood insider, the manager of Alice Cooper, Blondie and many other top class artists and at the same time, an exemplary family man and a friend of Dalai Lama. Therefore, it is not surprising that the story of his adventures and his Hollywood life were taken on by none other than Mike "Austin Powers" Myers.

The screening is in English with Russian subtitles.

The event is part of the Selector Pro festival organized by the British Council and Strelka Institute.
