Music of the 90's as a cultural myth (Discussions)

"Songs into the void" writers Ilya Zinin and Alexander Gorbachev will speak about the musical heritage of the nineties and its value for present days.

The nineties have become a myth. Some people consider this time as troubled days when anarchy and misery reigned the country, for others it was a rare period when freedom wasn’t just a word. This discrepancy refers to the culture of the first decade after the reformation period as well. Talented people were disappointed and faded away due to of the lack of industry. On the other hand, phenomenal characters and genres have appeared and flourished.

Authors of the book “Songs into the void” Ilya Zinin and Aleksandr Gorbachov are trying to analyze the musical heritage of the nineties and its value for present days. Journalists, musicians, cultural entrepreneurs and other participants and observers of that period will also join the discussion.
