Gabriel Soucheyre, director of Videoformes festival, will give a talk about video and digital art. After the lecture Gabriel will show some special festival video works related to the topic of technology and science.

Videoformes is one of the oldest international festivals of video and digital art. It takes place every summer in the city of Clermont-Ferrand (France), since 1986.
Gabriel Soucheyre participates in many national and international events as curator and jury member and teaches at Université Blaise Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand. He is a curator for the Galerie de l’Art du Temps (Time based arts gallery), editor of Turbulence Video (video art and digital culture quarterly magazine) and director of Videoformes, International Digital Arts Festival, and the Videoforms Digital Archive. Videoforms Festival takes place in Clermont-Ferrand since 1984. Over the past two decades, it has established itself as the foremost French event for international digital art.
The lecture will be held in English with translation.
