THE NEW NORMAL
Karina Golubenko is an interaction designer and researcher working within the fields of design, new media, architecture, and culture. Holding MA degree in cultural studies, she later switched her practice towards digital design driven by the potential of emerging platforms. Her research interests are focused on the interface effects, platform aesthetics, and digital utopias implied by the new technologies. She is engaged with the advancement of decentralized strategies and network ecologies, which resulted in co-founding of Russian Virtual Pavilion initiative (2018).
