Regina decided to concentrate on flea markets because they are not only economic but also social institutes. She interviewed sellers working on the market to determine social attitudes of market workers and distinguish formal and informal mechanism of their interactions and behavior with customers and official and nonofficial authorities. In addition, to define social status of workers on these markets, their value system. Also she interviewed customers attending flea markets to find out their motives and opinion concerning further development of the flea markets in Moscow. The goal of the research is to determine social, economic and cultural factors influenced nature of trading activity and also suggest implementing the best of flea markets model in urban practices.
