Scandinavian design is characterized by simplicity, minimalism and functionality, which allows it it to remain relevant for more than half a century. How does this influence the aesthetics of modern design? Why Scandinavian design is democratic, refined and proficient? How it has affected the economic policy of Sweden?
Stockholm Design Lab founder Bjorn Kusoffsky and creative director Igor Kazakov will talk about the development of Scandinavian design. Using real case studies and their own studio projects as examples they will explain characteristics of the aesthetics of the region. Since its founding in 1997, Stockholm Design Lab worked with IKEA, Volvo, Coca Cola, S7 and other large companies.
